A possible prank (change the home page of an unsuspecting friend) made possible by use of HTML5.
Floating images with 3D transforms!
It will work only on the latest Webkit-based browsers.
With this extension installed, clicking on Google Image Search results brings up a lightbox viewer rather than taking you to the page (and away from your search).
Nice extension. But, I’d rather go to http://youtube.com/html5 and join their HTML5 beta than have an extension hog my CPU cycles.
Or, am I missing something?
This extension removes the need to use flash on YouTube by converting all videos to their HTML5 video tag equivalents. It also has the added benefits of decreased CPU usage compared to flash, and the removal of in-video ads. At present it only works on youtube.com, but I hope to correct this in future versions.
EDIT: Works exactly as advertised. My new favourite extension.

Well, you’re sort of missing something. I don’t maintain a YouTube account anymore—or any account that I can avoid. Since I can’t (or won’t) log in, I can’t sign up for that HTML5 beta. This, on the other hand, I don’t need an account for.
I just checked on a different browser. It doesn’t ask for any account! Just using cookies. Of course, 1 extra extension is no big deal!
For Safari 5 users, this is simply way beyond what the default UI is for Google Reader! For the rest, there’s a user-style linked on that page.
