In the second group G match in the ongoing World Cup, North Korea not only managed to hold Brazil to 0-0 in the first half, but managed to scare the Brazilians throughout the game. The 2-1 scoreline is an apt representation of the quality of game showed by both the sides.
It might have taken all their concentration power, but DPRK have shown what is possible with purity of intent.
Indian soccer, on the other hand keeps hiding behind allegations of capriciousness of the administration or the lack of infrastructure. While the North Korean administration is one of the world’s worst example of mal-administration, and Brazil too being in almost the same league as India in terms of infrastructure, the jokers running the show in India are clearly putting in an apology for an effort.
